Perlu sekali ada standarisasi dalam pembakuan   penggunaan kata dalam bahasa Indonesia, ini dimaksudkan untukmemperkuat fungsi bahasa Indonesia itu sendiri. Demi kepentingan yang lebih luas bahasa Indonesia menjadi bahasa nasional dan bahasa pemersatu,  Maka  seharusna ada kesatuan pembakuan dalam penggunaan ejaan baku kata. Dalam sehari-hari banyak sekali penggunaan ejaan tidak baku yang seakan-akan di anggap baku dalam tata Bahasa Indonesia. Berikut ejaan baku dan tidak baku yang mungkin sering salah digunakan.

Ejaan baku sangat penting penggunaanya dalam karya tulis ilmiah atau laporan skripsi, tapi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti aktivitas blogging, penggunaan ejaan tidak baku  sebenarnya sah-sah saja.
