   RECOUNT TEXT

 (LAPORAN PERISTIWA:KEJADIAN ATAU KEGIATAN MASA LAMPAU) 

Tujuan Komunikatif Teks (Communicative Purpose)/ social function/ purpose:

To retell/ tell past  events  (menceritakan ulang peristiwa masa lalu)

Contoh= Cerita kegiatan  masa lalu idola seseorang, cerita pengalaman saat berlibur di Bali dll.

Kisi –kisi materi –  soal RECOUNT text:

1.    Siswa harus mampu menentukan  tujuan text / Social function/communicative purpose of  RECOUNT text >>JAWABAN>>  to tell past event

2.    Siswa harus mampu menentukan topik  dari paragraf dan pikiran utama dari tiap-tiap paragraf>>>JAWABAN>> cari masalah yang sering dibicarakan/cari kata yang sering disebut

3.    Siswa harus mampu mengetahui makna kata-sinonim (close meaning) –antonim (opposite word)>> JAWABAN>> hafalkan daftar kosa kata

4.    Siswa harus mampu mengetahui info tersurat/ tertulis dalam teks atau yang tidak tertulis (tersirat) hafalkan: who=siapa –menanyakan subjek. Whom =siapa-menanyakan objek, which=yang mana.where=di mana/kemana, why =kenapa how= bagaimana dll.

5.    Siswa harus mampu mengetahui REFERENCE: It refers to… (menyatakan benda tunggal). They refers to ….. (menunjukkan orang/ benda jamak)

  CONTOH SOAL

Last summer, I went on an unforgettable trip to the mountains with my friends. We packed our bags and left early in the morning, excited for our adventure. After a long drive, we arrived at our campsite, surrounded by tall trees and fresh air.

         The first day, we hiked to a beautiful waterfall. The sound of the water was calming, and we took lots of photos. Later, we set up our tents and made a campfire. We roasted marshmallows and shared stories under the stars, feeling grateful for the moment.

        On the second day, we went rock climbing. It was challenging but thrilling to reach the top. The view was breathtaking! We spent the rest of the day exploring and playing games.

 This trip was not just about the activities; it strengthened our friendship and created memories I will cherish forever. I can't wait for our next adventure!

(Proecdure)

1. Ciri Umum:

a. Tujuan Komunikatif Teks (Communicative Purpose):

To describe how something is accomplished through a sequence of

actions or steps

(Memberi petunjuk tentang cara melakukan sesuatu melalui

serangkaian tindakan atau langkah).

B. Contoh  Teks:

 How to make a pencil case

 Steps

1.     Choose the size you want. If you want to put longer items, such as a ruler, placed in your pencil case, you’ll need a longer pencil case.

2.     Find a bag or box that suitable with your choice of size. It doesn’t have to be nice-looking but strong and clean.

3.     Cover the box with paper, any colour.

4.     Decorate the container. Try some or all the following ideas.

a.     Put some cool sticker

b.     Decorate with your own art work with markers; draw lines; shapes ;animals people ;etc

c.     Cut some magazine pictures and stick them on it.

d.     Totally cover the box with wrapping paper

e.     Glue on shells, buttons or anything else you want to decorate the pencil case with. Add glitter if you like

5.     Show all your friends and be proud of your unique pencil case

“NARRATIVE Text” dan kisi-kisi soal Narrative Text

The purpose / social function of “narrative  text” (tujuan teks) is to amuse/ to entertain the readers. (menghibur pembaca)

Ciri narrative texts: -berbentuk kalimat lampau  (past),

Generic structure/Struktur paragraf= Orientation, evaluation, complication, resolution, reorientation

Kisi-kisi soal / indikator teks yang harus dikuasai siswa

1. Siswa harus mampu menyebutkan tujuan teks: Pertanyaan soal mengenai tujuan teks pada umumnya:

ü What is the purpose of the text?

ü What is the social function of the text?

ü What is the communicative purpose (tujuan) of the text?

ü What is the writer’s intention  (niat penulis).?

ü The text is meant to (dimaksudkan untuk).....

ü What is the aim/ goal of the text?

2. Siswa harus  mengetahui gambaran umum dari teks:

Gambaran umum berkenaan dengan pertanyaan tentang tema/topik bacaan secara keseluruhan –Jawaban pada umumnya:berupa kata atau  prase atau “bukan kalimat “.

Beberapa Kemungkinan  Pertanyaan soal:

ü What does the text tell you about?

ü What is the suitable title for the text?

3. Siswa harus mampu menentukan main idea /pokok pikiran / ide utama . Pertanyaan soal tentang ide utama/ pokok pikiran biasanya:

ü Paragraf 1 is about.....

ü What is paragraph 2  about?

ü The main idea of paragraph 1 is....

ü What does paragraph 3 tell us?

.......Jika ada pertanyaan/soal seperti di atas; Cari jawaban pada kalimat yang pertama, atau kalimat yang terakhir atau masalah yang sering dibicarakan dalam suatu paragraph

4. Siswa harus mampu menentukan informasi tertentu. Pertanyaan/ soal  tentang info tertentu,  jawaban berupa kata/ frase secara khusus mengarahkan pilihan jawaban. Kata kunci pertanyaan : what (apa) , who (siapa), where (dimana/kemana), when (kapan), what time (jam berapa), How many (berapa banyak) , how much (berapa banyak). Who=siapa untuk menanyakan subjek

                Whom= siapa untuk menanyakan objek

Yono loves  Yani.

Who loves Yani?  Yono

Whom does Yono love? Yani

 

5. Siswa harus mampu menentukan informasi rinci:

Pertanyaan berupa informasi secara detail dari teks yang disajikan.  Maka siswa harus membaca dengan teliti: Where—tanya tempat When---tanya waktu.

Who---tanya pelaku .Why—Tanya alasan

6. Siswa  harus mampu menentukan makna kata ( sinonim  /close meaning dan antonim/opposite words)

7. Siswa  harus mampu menentukan  reference ( mis it refers to.... (it menunjukkan kata benda tunggal),  they refers to  ( they menunjukkan kata benda jamak. “They” bisa menunjuk benda atau orang)

8. Siswa harus mampu mengetahui nilai moral (moral  value) dari isi cerita……Moral value----- Pertanyaan mengenai pelajaran hidup/ nilai-nilai yang baik atau pesan moral dari sebuah teks.

Kemungkinan pertanyaan dari soal:

1. What is the moral value of the text?

2. What can you learn from the text?

3. Based on the story we can  learn that.....

4. What is the blessing in disguise  (hikmah) of the story

Jawaban dari soal tentang moral value: berupa nasihat, kata bijak,  mutiara kata yang merupakan nilai kebaikan secara umum

Contoh soal

     Long, long ago, when the gods and goddesses used to mingle in the affairs of mortals, there was a small kingdom on the slope of Mount Wayang in West Java.  The King, named Sang Prabu, was a wise man.  He had an only daughter, called Princess Teja Nirmala, who was famous for her beauty but she was not married.  One day Sang Prabu made up his mind to settle the matter by a show of strength.

        After that, Prince of Blambangan, named Raden Begawan had won the competition.  Unfortunately, the wicked fairy, Princess Segara fell in love with Raden Begawan and used magic power to render him unconscious and he forgot his wedding.  When Sang Prabu was searching, Raden Begawan saw him and soon realized that he had been enchanted by the wicked fairy.  The fairy could not accept this, so she killed Raden Begawan.  When Princess Teja Nirmala heard this, she was very sad.  So a nice fairy took her to the Kahyangan.
